Duncan Melville is a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) based in Calgary. His practice focuses on supporting clients in natural resources industries (agriculture, energy and mining) on topics across corporate finance, strategy, people & organization, and sales & marketing.
He regularly publishes, and is considered an expert, on value creation in natural resources and cyclical industries. Prior to BCG he worked in private equity, investing in infrastructure and real estate.
Duncan graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MA (Hons, First Class) in Mathematics and International Relations, and from the University of Toronto with a JD. He is a CFA Charterholder and is admitted to the New York State Bar.
Outside of work and family Duncan is involved actively in the community, including with the YMCA Calgary.
