About Drive of Champions
Drive of Champions is a unique, one of a kind fundraiser hosted by the Calgary Police Youth Foundation. All of the proceeds raised will support children and youth by keeping them safe from crime and victimisation through nine crime prevention, education, and early intervention programs. Attendees, car enthusiasts and members of the public will have the opportunity to see some of the most exhilarating cars on the market – taking pictures, meeting the owners, and even potentially getting to ride in one! This is one event you won’t want to miss!
Drive of Champions 2024 has three main components:
Dazzling Cocktail Reception
September 20, 2024
Experience a dazzling cocktail reception at Spruce Meadows, where you can display your incredible vehicle, mingle with car enthusiasts, and join in an exhilarating auction, all in support of children and youth in our city.
Drive Day Event
Morning – September 21, 2024
Specially selected children and youth will have the experience of a lifetime as a VIP co-pilot during our Drive Day event. Joining over 100 stunning vehicles, they will each be paired with one of our drivers for an unforgettable ride to our exclusive pit-stop location and back.
Spectacular Show & Shine
Afternoon – September 21, 2024
Once our co-pilots and drivers return to Spruce Meadows, members of the public will be invited to join us for a spectacular Show & Shine event where they can meet the drivers, take photos of the cars, and enjoy the scenery at stunning Spruce Meadows.
DRIVE OF CHAMPIONS FUNDRAISER
Drive of Champions is a fundraiser that supports the Calgary Police Youth Foundation. Funds raised directly benefit children and youth in Calgary, helping to keep them safe from crime and victimisation.
The Calgary Police Youth Foundation engages the community in ensuring every child and youth can live free from the influence of crime. CPYF provides leadership and funding to 9 crime prevention, education, and early intervention programs, delivered by the Calgary Police Service and other partners. These programs raise awareness and empathy for young people affected by crime, offering critical support and guiding them toward a brighter future.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED!
Drive of Champions would not be possible without the generous support of the community. Over the course of two days, the Calgary Police Youth Foundation will host a stunning cocktail reception, an engaging public show and shine, and a spectacular drive day event.
Each of these events presents an incredible opportunity to showcase your business or organization to the Calgary community, while supporting children and youth, in our community.
