Darcy Hulston is the Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Canoe Financial, one of Canada’s leading independent investment management firms. With more than 30 years of leadership experience, he has helped build Canoe into one of Canada’s fastest-growing investment management companies, overseeing more than $24 billion in client assets.
A passionate advocate for mentorship, education, and community service, Darcy has dedicated decades to charitable and volunteer initiatives, helping raise millions of dollars for causes focused on health, youth, and community well-being. He regularly speaks to students and young professionals about leadership, career development, and personal growth.
In recognition of his contributions to business and community leadership, Darcy was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2025. He lives in Calgary and is the proud father of three adult children.
