The 2022 Chief Youth Courage Award recipient for the Integrated School Support Program (ISSP) is Jacob. Jacob is an eleven year old student who attended Patrick Airlie Elementary School from Kindergarten until Grade 5. While at Patrick Airlie, Jacob benefitted greatly from the supports offered by ISSP including Kid’s Hub, the breakfast program, and the hot lunch program.

Jacob excelled in the daily physical education program and teachers noted that he was a leader who always demonstrated good sportsmanship towards his peers. Around school, Jacob is known for being a kind person who is always willing to help others when needed. At home, Jacob has taken on a leadership role when it comes to his two younger brothers and takes pride in looking after them.

Jacob was nominated for the ISSP Chief Youth Courage Award by his Principal at Patrick Airlie, Anica Robinson. She believes that Jacob has a very bright future ahead of him and she can see him taking on even more of a leadership role in sports and joining a student council. She describes Jacob as an easy person to work with, humble, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

We are so proud of everything Jacob has accomplished in his young life and are very excited to present him with 2022 ISSP Chief Youth Courage Award.
